What if it's good for you?

Updated: Jan 5, 2022

When I began researching CBD and the many different applications that it could potentially be used to help with (more on that later). I knew that I had to keep my product as minimally processed as possible to ensure that we are keeping the CBD and all of its helpful bits intact.

Now I just had to find some ingredients that were soothing for the skin but also had some healing properties. Pinterest is where I started. So many lotions, balms, butters, whipped or not whipped? All had a couple of like ingredients. I wrote them down and swapped to google for some research articles. Crossing out this and that I was left with Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, and Beeswax. Benefits on top of benefits on top of benefits.

The Essential Oils were also found in the same unscientific process as the salve base ingredients. Cinnamon, Frankincense, and Peppermint were just what I was looking for to give The Green Goat Salve that extra oomph not found on the market today. The amazing properties that therapeutic grade essential oils add to the salve can be felt as the salve is rubbed in. What can we say except for even more potential benefits.

Sure they all sound nice and even soothing but allow me in the next series of posts to really elaborate on each of them. They are all superstars in their own ways. Every one of the ingredients in The Green Goat salve works in some way to help alleviate pain and inflammation. I can't wait to break down each ingredient!
